Radiesse is a strong, long-lasting filler used to augment the cheeks, lift sagging jowls, soften naso-labial folds and reduce marionette lines. Radiesse is not only able to immediately restore volume, it also generates your body’s own collagen production to produce longer-lasting and better-looking results.
How it Works
Radiesse is made up of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres that are suspended in a hydrated gel matrix. When this dermal filler is injected into the skin, it immediately boosts the volume of the underlying structures, essentially acting like a scaffold to soften wrinkles and fine lines. Radiesse also stimulates collagen to create a prolonged effect that leaves the skin wrinkle free, smooth, and vibrant looking. Over time and with regular Radiesse maintenance, the patient’s own collagen will help to provide ongoing support for the rejuvenated facial structure.
Areas of Treatment
Radiesse is a great dermal filler to volumize sunken temples, for cheek augmentation, to soften naso-labial folds and to reduce marionette lines. It can also be used to lift sagging jowls and along the jawline to provide a more youthful contour.
