Cellupulse in Los Angeles
Cellulite is a condition that has caused concern for many men and women to date. At the Los Feliz MedSpa in Los Angeles, CA, many methods have been used to manage this condition before, but none have produced the same phenomenal results as Cellupulse Acoustic Wave therapy. Acoustic Wave Therapy™ makes use of acoustic waves or shockwaves that are part of a collective type of technology that has had a great track record for treating a multitude of pathologic conditions in the body. With its integration into the field of cosmetic medicine, Acoustic Wave Therapy™ is able to provide a focused method of therapy for cellulite, toning the skin and creating a smoother texture without the bulging or dimpling.
How does Acoustic Wave Therapy™ work?
Acoustic Wave Therapy™ focuses on the main cause of cellulite, which is the protrusion of enlarged fat cells within the skin’s connective tissue fibers towards the surface of the skin, resulting in multiple dimpling or what is referred to as the “orange peel” appearance of the skin. As the acoustic waves penetrate the affected areas, the connective tissues begin to relax and the outer skin layer consequently begins to become firmer. As the blood circulation is improved, collagen production will be stimulated and this, in turn, strengthens the inner and outer skin layers, improving firmness and restoring the skins natural elasticity. After Cellupulse treatment using Acoustic Wave Therapy™, the patient will immediately notice a marked improvement in the texture of the skin.
What results are achieved with the Acoustic Wave Therapy™ program?
The results obtained using Acoustic Wave Therapy™ include visibly firmer and smoother skin with improved elasticity, tone, and texture. The strengthened and thickened skin layers decrease the tendency of fat protrusion, giving patients a much-needed hiatus from cellulite-dimpled skin. Some patients have even reported getting leaner figures with the treatment as the circumference of the treated areas begin to lessen.
What is the AWT treatment program?
A comprehensive Acoustic Wave Therapy™ program calls for patients to be treated at least once, or twice, a week for about six weeks. Each session will last between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the extent of the areas to be treated. The duration of each session will also depend on whether the patient will be given vibrational exercises in addition to AWT.
How long will the results last?
Results are expected to last between 6 to 12 months with recommended maintenance sessions within the first six months after the completion of the initial AWT program.
